Established in 2005, Patricia McDuffee Photography of Huntington
Patty, the studio's sole-proprieter and only photographer, has a life-long commitment to the Arts. In College, Patty earned her degree from the prestigious Dance Arts program at Emerson College in Boston, MA.
While a student, Patty explored her attraction to various visual mediums, including Dance, and Photography. Patty earned her Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in 1990. At Emerson, she minored in Communication Disorders, lending her a thorough understanding to the art of listening to others.
The Marriage of Patty's Fine Arts pedigree with her ear for understanding the unique expression of those around her, enables her to photograph her subjects from the perspective of the "whole person".
Patty pursued her career in Dance instruction while raising her family, but meanwhile continued to develop and hone her skills as a photographer. To those who know her, Patty's most common appendage has always been her camera. A longstanding serial "snapper".
McDuffee Photography is located in Huntington, New York on Long Island's North Shore where the beauty of the landscape provides the backdrop for her natural, yet refined style. Patty takes full advantage of the rocky beaches, manicured parks and conserved lands surrounding Huntington, including Caumsett State Park, Lloyd Neck Beach, Sands Point, Hecksher Park, Oyster Bay and others.
